Surface treatment

DI industrial company offers surface treatment for a wide range of materials and shapes. Significantly engaged are surface treatments - anodising of aluminium and its alloys, electroless nickel plating of steel, brass, copper and aluminium or its alloys, galvanic nickel plating and galvanic zinc plating, titanium oxidation, spray painting with water-based and solvent-based paints. Within these technologies we also provide further ones – shot blasting by sand, iron, corundum or glass beads, as well as elimination of Ni coating. Our main focus in surface treatments is quality and customer-oriented approach. The line capacity in connection with the professionalism of our staff enables us to meet the high demands of our customers, especially in terms of single and small batch production.

Gold and Silver Plating

For both precious metals we offer a layer according to the customer's request in the range of 1-5 μm. The dimensions of our tubs are 300 x 300 x 300 mm. Silvering and goldening suits for objects with complex shapes.

The layers serve as

  • corrosion protection,
  • plating increases conductivity
  • reduces transient resistance

Gilding is carried out in an acid bath. Silver plating can be used as a final layer or as an intermediate layer on non-ferrous metals before gilding.

E-CLPS 4600 - Titanium Oxidation of Aluminum

  • Titanium oxidation prevents atmospheric oxidation of the Al surface, the surface remains conductive. The color of the oxidized surface is white (transparent). The dimensions of the object do not change.
  • Titanium oxidation of aluminum, prevents corrosion of the material and is recommended for use on all products made of aluminum and aluminum alloys that are not otherwise surface treated.

Surface Pre-Treatment 

Pre-treatment is performed by the following methods: 

  • degreasing - immersion of parts
  • sealing - leveling the surface before painting
  • protection / masking - blinding of chamber cavities, threaded holes and all other surfaces that are unpainted
  • grinding - as required, roughening the surface before painting
  • we also perform blasting with cast iron balls, sandblasting and ballot paper.

The main parameter for determining the price for individual surface treatments is the area of the part, taking into account its weight. The total volume of the order and the number of pieces are also taken into account.

It is a surface treatment performed in a warm bath with blackening salt - chemical passivation of the surface:

  • a very thin (raughly of 1 μm) black layer of ferrous-ferric oxide is formed
  • the oxide layer is relatively durable and well wettable for oil - the process ends with the preservation of parts
  • good protection against corrosion and abrasion resistance
  • suitable materials for this surface treatment are iron castings, non-alloy and low-alloy steels
